Giant Trees

Visit the Middle Fork Groves with maps, descriptions and other details on where the old growth forest giants live.

Hiking is the best way to see The Middle Fork and the only way to see the big trees. We are working to further develop our hiking section. Go ahead and take a look at where we are so far:

The Middle Fork is full of history, learn more about it.

Middle Fork History

Dedicated to finding and preserving the heritage, natural and historical, in the wilderness Snoqualmie Valley. Although the giant trees and the Middle Fork were the inspiration for Middle Fork Giants we have expanded this effort to include the wilderness history throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. Going forward you will start to see information from the South and North Fork Valleys as well.

Loving those Big Trees!

Welcome to Middle Fork Giants, the place to get information on old growth forests, history, heritage, and information on the wilderness Snoqualmie Valley.

With the film premier of Dreams in the Wilderness now past (click on the Dreams in the Wilderness page below to learn more about the film) it is time to get back to the foundational work of researching and presenting the valley's heritage. I haven't stopped looking for trees in the past year while making the film, I just haven't been putting what I have found on the website. So, in the next few months I will be doing an upgrade on the big trees sections with more information coming. Please keep coming back and seeing what the Middle Fork has to offer and increasingly information on history from other parts of the Snoqualmie Valley.
